BIO
Luke Norman is a violinist, arranger, and composer from Menlo Park, California. Luke began playing the violin at four years old under the tutelage of Jacquelyn Corina, studying classical music for 14 years. Luke continued his studies at the Berklee College of Music on scholarship, where he graduated with a degree in Professional Music with concentrations in Violin Performance and Jazz Composition. Through his exposure to the music of Thundercat, Mahavishnu Orchestra, Herbie Hancock, and others, Luke became enamored with the tradition of jazz and fusion. Through his compositions and performance Luke strives to use the jazz medium to honor the pioneers of the tradition and express his personal artistry. Luke regularly performs in the greater Boston Area as a both a bandleader and sideman. He is releasing his debut EP "Running Late" on May 31, 2026, under his artist name h2.

Learn To Play
Study the technique of the violin, build a repertoire across multiple genres and styles, and develop your improvisational voice on the instrument. Explore and express your musicality through the violin, and have fun doing it! Open to students of all skill levels and backgrounds, ages 5 and up.

Study The Art
Explore the fundamentals of music that shape the sounds of music historically and today, learn to describe and understand the elements of melody, harmony, and rhythm, and enable your ears to recognize and respond to musical ideas . Open to students of all skill levels and background, ages 10 and up.
